SHIPPING / HAND DELIVERY

Q: Can you ship my puppy to me?

A: We CAN ship your puppy to you in most instances (major airports only). Price will depend on your location. Puppies may also be picked up in person or may be hand delivered for a fee.

We LOVE meeting new owners when posible and placing your new puppy directly into your waiting arms. If shipping is not possible, we will be more than happy to meet with you part way for a small gas reimbursement fee.

And we always invite folks to come to Texas to get their puppy in person!

We're excited to offer our special "hand delivered" service to those new owners who want to know that their puppy is well supervised, watched and cared for carefully at all times until the puppy is placed directly into their waiting arms!! There are two special options:

1) We will have your puppy driven straight to your door!! Our "Puppy Travel Specialist" will drive to your home where you will be given your new puppy;

2) Our "Puppy Travel Specialist" will fly to your local major airport to meet you and place the puppy in your arms;

THE MAIN POINT:

Your puppy is cared for during it's entire trip, minimizing possible travel stress and making the entire process more comfortable for you and your puppy.

Food For Thought

PEDIGREE Puppy is what our Shar-Pei puppies eat after they are weaned from their mother's milk; then we gradually change them over to Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition (see below). Many Shar-Pei are allergic to SOY and SOY based products. Shar-Pei most times cannot tolerate SOY in any form; this includes soy meal, soy bean, or anything associated with soy. Soy can ruin your Pei's coat for life, and also cause serious medical illnesses, such as internal bleeding ands liver problems. Always check label ingredients on all foods and treats.

Although we have been feeding Pedigree to our dogs since 1995, there have been people who have tried to convince us that we were doing our dogs some type of "harm"? Well, in 12 years we have never had any health problems in our dogs, other than the seasonal allergy or eye tacking. And when all those "high end" dog foods were recalled recently, Pedigree was NOT on that list!!!

We even address their diet in our puppy contract which goes with each puppy we place:

"DIET - Most Shar-Pei are allergic to foods containing Soy. Not all Pei are affected, but it is better to take precaution than to endanger your Pei health. DO not ever feed your Pei anything containing Soy. In some Shar-Pei, Soy can cause severe internal problems (such as bleeding); and could cause irreversible skin/coat damage. Always check ingrediants in foods before giving it to your Pei.

The same can be true of foods containing too high of a Protein content. Protein content 21% is the perfect amount of protein and Shar-Pei tend to tolerate it well.

Purina Puppy Chow is what our Pug puppies are fed after being weaned from their mother's milk; then they are gradually switched over to Purina Dog Chow. (see below) We find that our Pugs are crazy about their Purina Dog chow!!

Pugs do LOVE their food!!! LOL

Each puppy comes with a sample of the food he/she is used to eating to avoid tummy upset ;O)
